Parent Notification Instructions

Additional Information:

Iron County School District has made available a new parent notification system. This system will include the following benefits:

  • Electronic Report Cards1
  • Emergency and General School Notifications
  • Student Attendance Reporting
  • ...and more (available in the coming months)

Parents have the option to choose their specific methods for delivery:

  • SMS Text Message
  • Email (required for report cards)1
  • Phone (Home and/or Mobile)
  • ...and more (Social Media posts available in the future)

NEW: Parents have the option to choose their preferred language for notifications:

  • English
  • Spanish

To use the new Parent Notification system, you will need a PowerSchool Parent Account .  If you do NOT have a PowerSchool Parent Account, please contact your student's school to obtain your account information.  This information will be provided by the school on a document called, "Web Letter to Parents".  You must show your Parent ID to obtain this document (cannot be provided over the phone).  If you are unable to reach your school and require further assistance, please contact the school district at (435) 586-2804.

1Report Cards will no longer be printed and sent home with students.  Parents without email access may request a paper report card from the school. (Copy/Print fees may apply.)
